Erick G. Benson, a graduate of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications. While still in college, he worked as a live news cameraman for channel 18 KSCI Global Television and performed post -production duties for various cable TV stations. After graduating, he joined the Mark Goodson Production Company as a Public Relations Representative, with the game show staff of “Family Feud.” Next, he demonstrated his advertising skills as an Account Executive with P.D.S. Sports Inc., where he sold radio spots for the company’s radio show, “Inside Track.” Mr. Benson also worked as an Account Executive with Ted Salter and Associates in conjunction with 1580 KDAY Radio Station in Los Angeles. Soon after, he and an associate formed the Benson & Rosenthal Advertising Agency. Mr. Benson was responsible for various accounts in the Palm Springs market. His duties included copy writing, ad sells, publicity/promotions, marketing, and producing and directing television commercials. As for the popular hit television show, “Love Connection,” Mr. Benson was responsible for promotions and recruitment of contestants throughout Southern California. He also directed a contemporary variety show featuring Grammy award winner, Anita Baker.
In 1992, he attended UCLA to further enhance his script writing ability.

In February 1995, he wrote and produced the hit stage play, “Sistah Story,” which premiered in Los Angeles at the Wilshire Ebell Theater, and subsequently toured throughout Southern and Northern California. Mr. Benson has more recently written and directed three additional stage plays. The plays are entitled The Lost Season (1996), The Risen Verdict (1998) and Bethlehem on Broadway, which premiered in December 2001 at the Ontario Convention Center.
Mr. Benson’s future as a writer appears to be very promising. Beyond the success that he has already experienced, he has much more creativity to share with the world. Stay tuned to the next stage of Mr. Benson’s career as his film scripts are being presented to the entertainment industry. Presently, Mr. Benson is completing his second book entitled, “Framed Justice.” His third book is entitled, “Black White Boy”. “The Weight-Pile Murder” is his first book. Mr. Benson is also the Founder of Urban Dreams Film Works. This company was developed as a secondary film company to produce films of various genres with the emphasis concentrated on ethnic issues and values. The program allows minority filmmakers and writers an avenue for possible production and development of their own projects.
August 2005 earned a Masters Degree in Creative Writing- Madison University.

ANTHONY HERRON
WRITER; PRODUCER; EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
attended the U.S. School of Applied Aerospace Sciences and received certification as an Air Traffic Controller. He worked at a pilot training base as an Air Traffic Controller achieving top rated proficiency in Radar Approach Control operations. After his honorable discharge from the U. S. Air Force he received an A.A. degree in Journalism from Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, CA and a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications (Broadcasting; writing and producing) from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, CA. His graduate studies include a Masters Degree in Communications from Hartford University and is currently completing his Masters Degree in Creative Writing. Anthony completed studies in John Truby's Scriptwriting School and the Hollywood Film Institute’s Producers and Directors program. He has taught scriptwriting at the Los Angeles Bridge Conservatory and conducted seminars and lectures at Chaffey College and Saddleback College. Anthony completed an internship at NBC in Burbank, CA as a researcher for a talk show, “At One With” hosted by Keith Berwick.
After college Anthony accepted a position with ABC Watermark which produced syndicated radio shows including at the time, the world-wide acclaimed weekly show, “American Top 40” hosted by Casey Kasem. Anthony later transferred to the ABC network working in Corporate Services, Motion Pictures and Broadcast Operations for the 1984 Olympics. Upon leaving network television operations, Anthony accepted a position with Columbia Pictures (now Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, a subsidiary of Sony Pictures Entertainment) where he was employed for 19 years.
He created a writing/producing partnership, Ben-Her Entertainment, that produced a variety show featuring Anita Baker and optioned a story/script to Sidney Poitier’s Verdon-Cedric Productions/Columbia Pictures.
